This product is retailing at Carelyna (Marine Parade) for that amount which is a huge difference from the one I bought online and it is the exact same product. That's the good thing about the internet. Hahah. I'm glad I did some research before buying!

Deplieve Intimate Folisan comes in a form of glass bottle with roll-on function which makes it easier to be applied onto the skin. The product comes to prevent and minimize the occurrence of ingrown hair; I have been using this for about 1 week, probably need another 3-6 weeks to see the results? :)

The bottle is small and great for travelling; application is made easy with the roll-on function and the liquid is slightly sticky but dries quite fast after applying. The product has to be applied daily, once or twice depending on one's preference. But I tend to forget sometimes, so it might take alittle longer for me to see the results! :/ The only con is the weird smell of the liquid, similar to glue, guess I'll get used to it soon.

Hopefully this product works for me, update in a month's time ;)

Review - Pink Sponge Curler

I just found these pictures in one of my folders (dated September 2011), forgot to review them :x

This product is highly raved in Taiwan!
My mum saw these at cash converters @ $3 and decided to get them for me to try :)) It is pretty easy to use! There are 6 pieces, I think it's more than enough unless you have thick hair; just have to divide them in sections. After which, you just have to put the sponge curler at the ends of your hair, slip them into the zig zag openings, roll the curler towards your head and secure them by slipping the end of the sponge into the hole (as seen in the pictures).

I used them on dried hair and for a couple of hours; maybe that’s why the results weren’t obvious. It gave wavy hair instead of the curls :/

From the other reviews I read, it's best to use them when your hair is 90% dry and overnight for better results! I shall try them again and update then! :)

I love this brand of contact lenses! It's so much more comfortable than GEO lenses! GEO lenses are too dry for my eyes and it stings :/ The only con is the diameter of the lenses; it ranges from 15mm-16mm, which is pretty big and you won't want to wear the normal 14mm lenses after using these :x

Anyway, they have a wide selection of designs! I couldn't resist and bought these!(August 2011) Did I mention that I dislike boring colours? Usually I won't go for brown/black because these are so common! I like pink&violet the most; shall get red ones soon!❤

I saw this product on sale, I mean who could resist sales(:p), plus I had been looking for solution for my callus problem. I decided to get this to try after looking through positive reviews of the first version: Tony Moly Shiny Foot Peeling Liquid. This is an improved version which claims to have these benefits: removal of dead skin cells + itch relief + deodorizing + refreshment from fatigue.It took about 1 week to reach me and I tried it the very same day I received the parcel! My feet had thick callus (refer to the above picture) and I’ve wanted to get rid of them badly. Each box includes 2 packs of liquid + 2 socks.

How to Use:
1. Put Maxi Power Foot Sheets on your feet.
2. With scissors, cut open the pouch containing the peeling liquid along the dotted lines and pour the liquid into both sheets (25 ml each)
3. Keep both sheets on your feet and wait until your foot skin absorbs the liquid (it takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours)
4. After waiting for about 1 to 1.5 hours, take off the sheets and wash your feet until the peeling liquid is thoroughly rinsed away. Dry your feet after washing.
5. In 4 to 6 days, the dead cells will naturally start falling off from your foot. DO NOT try peeling them off forcefully. Wait until all the dead cells naturally fall off, then you will feel no irritation or discomfort. You will have smooth and soft feet in about two weeks.
The liquid is clear, gives a cooling and refreshing feeling after soaking my feet for 1.5 hours. Just to add, even though the design allows one to tie to your feet and move around during the wait, it's not advisable. One of the plastic socks had a small hole and started leaking after I moved around the house :(
It took roughly 4 days before the peeling starts; bits&pieces of the dead skin can be seen in my shoes and on the floor, it was disgusting. Lol.

Verdict: This product really works! However, it is day 7 already and the peeling process isn’t quite done yet, there are still some little parts with dead skin still clinging on after some scrubbing. Anyway, I realized the part, where most calluses are, is starting to get rough, so the smooth feet don’t really last? :(
*Will update on this after 1 month, whether I will repurchase or not!

Anyway , I went down to Tampines IKEA & Giant with my mum today. The main purpose was to get hair dryer. I missed the food there so we decided to get there earlier for hotdog buns + meatballs!Hotdog buns. The standard has dropped, the hotdog tasted different, of lower quality :(
I used to eat 2-3 at once but now I don't feel like eating more than one. (Wanted Doctor Martens but I'm a poor kid, so I got a similar type instead. LOL)What I wore today:)

Finally done with shopping at IKEA and we went to get lunch at IKEA restaurant :DI ordered kids meal which costed $2.90; I'm afraid I couldn't finish because mum doesn't like their meatballs :/

Comfort Ultra Softener

I did an event for Comfort Ultra Softener today, thanks to Richelle:)

We went around Orchard and Toa Payoh area, giving free hugs and samples to families. Our dresses are made of towel and the softener is used on thw dresses, so when people hugged us, they can smell the product. Haha.
I only managed to take some pictures with these lovely ladies! Hopefully there’s chances to take more tomorrow ;)

(Noticed that many claimed the fluid hurts the eye if it gets into the eye. So far it hasn't happen to me, but still, be careful when applying, try not to blink right after you apply^^)*image taken on week 0! The first line indicates 3mm, and so on:)

Week 0
Left side (Bottom lashes) : 4~6mm
Right side (Bottom lashes) : 3.5~6mm

I bought this product after seeing a number of positive reviews on various platforms. I got this for about SGD$30 from an online store and I realized the packaging is different from the ones retailing in local Etude House stores. It looks authentic, hope it won’t harm my eyes or anything. *touch wood*

Anyway, I have been using this product on and off for about a month. I don’t always remember to apply them; I think I missed at least 3 days :p But I think it still worked as I noticed some difference! I only used them on my lower lashes, in case the product has some side effects, which it didn’t thankfully, I wouldn’t want 0 bottom eyelashes!

The result does not look that impressive but at least there’s some growth! :) In addition to the length, the lashes are slightly stronger and I don’t lose that much lashes when I removed mascara or rub my eyes :D

Verdict: It does help and I’m going to continue using it on my bottom lashes and probably start on my top lashes since there are no side effects so far. I’m hoping to achieve 12mm for top lashes (currently between 6-9mm only) and 8mm for bottom lashes. *crosses fingers* I'll repurchase if I happen to go to Korea:p

I bought this from Groupon in October, after seeing some positive reviews on their website and partially because many others bought it too. I tried finding for more reviews but to no avail. So I decided to try it myself and post reviews here!

I've been having hairloss problems for 1-2years already(because of the hairshow), so scared that I would go bald soon :( Hopefully this works for me. Anyway, I made time to go down today, just before they close for CNY, was greeted by this chinese lady and was directed to a sofa to fill up a form. The place was empty at that time and the setting of the place seems like a normal HDB flat(it's not). After filling up the form, she talked to me about the treatments they had and how long it would take to see results(min. 1 month - 12treatments). She went on to check my hair and took pictures so as to show me the difference once these treatments were done. No hard selling so far.

So the treatment, she said that it would be a sound vibrational energy therapy. I was surprised because I was told to sit there quietly for 20minutes and listened to music. That was all, nothing else and I was told to come back on 1st Feb. Lol. I have no idea how this would help. My mum laughed when I told her about it :( I hope the second treatment would be different?

*Update 1st Feb: Another "music therapy" and I've checked with her, if you sign up a package of 12 sessions, it would cost $1,800! And all sessions are just "music therapy"! :o Does it really work? I'm starting to doubt those testimonials posted online :/

Groupon is seriously the best site to get your deals from! :D
They have the best customer service and I think this is one of the reasons why they are so successful :)

Previously I bought this voucher (H I Salon - 90 min Scalp Detox and O3 Treatment
Hair Spa + Cut + Wash + Blow). It seems good, plus I couldn't find any bad reviews so I went ahead and bought 2 of them. They have 4 outlets in Singapore and I went to the outlet in lakeside after school (nearest to Clementi :p)

The service staff at the salon have very bad attitude. When I first entered the salon, it was empty and the staffs were just sitting around using their iPhones, plus nobody bothered to look up. I had to ask 2 staffs who were sitted close to the door before they checked the appointment I made. Moreover the service provided was bad, the staff pulled my hair so hard even after I told them to be gentle. I doubt they did anything properly, the condition of my hair is the same after treatment.

I'm so glad that Groupon responded to my email within 3 working days and did a refund for the second coupon I bought! :D This wasn't the only case; there was another time where I bought a voucher for MJK Korean Crystal BBQ (reviews here), don't ever go there! :) On both occassions, Groupon responded promptly and did a full credit refund with no further questions.

Of course they don't always have such bad deals/retailers, there are great deals too, eg. Groove Dance School, Scoopz, Tsukiji Gindaco(best tako!!) and more. So if you're looking for a reliable and good deal site, go to Groupon! :p

Hello Kitty Nails

No school today plus I don't feel like going out so I decided to get my nails done! Haha, I wanted hello kitty / bunny designs on them but the end result was different from what I expected :c

I used some brandless nail polish that I bought from neighbourhood shops, $1.50 each? Lol didn't want to spend too much on them because I don't apply them much.
1st - Hello Kitty (don't look like one though :c)
3rd - Bunny (I think this one's cuter! Hahah)
Added other designs on the other two nails so it will balance out? I think. LOL.End result, it looks better from far, can be improved. Will do a tutorial if I can get better results next time xD

Abercrombie & Fitch + ITouch Charger

Finally received the charger I bought for my itouch 4th generation!:) I wanted light pink but it wasn't available so I got red instead(my current fav colour) :p
It costed $5 with postage, I think it's considered affordable? ~~The charging time is kinda long though, took about 1.5 hours to charge till 55% :/~~
*Update- 7th Jan: Full charge took 2 hours :)
_Met D yesterday to shop around town! There was queue at A&F in the later part of the afternoon, I guessed they just want to create the impression that it's popular? Lol well that was the impression they gave me. It wasn't that great; the place was dark(like in a club), I almost trip over the carpet once. LOL :c
Moreover, the staffs weren't very friendly, they were folding clothes and talking to one another; not paying much attention to customers. It was different from what they claimed to be.

Shan't go on, it's disappointing. Haha.

Review - Kernels Popcorn from Korea

Let's start the new year with some good snacks! :p
This is seriously better than Garretts Popcorn and of course popcorns sold in cinema!

I came across a review on this product sometime in November, however the product was oos online at that time so I had to wait till December for them to restock, but it was worth it ;)

On 19th Dec, I ordered 3 "cans" of popcorn + Red Ginseng drink + 3 types of instant food products, and it took 6 days to reach me!
(shall review the instant food products in another post!)
Review: Creamy Caramel (Kernels Popcorn)
These caramel popcorns are delicious and only contain 200 calories(not that I calculate my calories; easier for girls who does :p) The serving size is enough for 2! At first I thought it would be quite little, considering that manufacturers always leave alot of air in a small packaging but I'm glad that I was wrong :p
It tastes so good that I finished all 3 within 3 consecutive days! I'm addicted to this already, and I just bought another 9 "cans" of them! xD

Arrived last year (yesterday evening)!
This time round, I bought Butter&Cheese + Super Mix too :)
Butter&Cheese is good, the taste isn't that overwhelming and there's a slight mixture of caramel popcorn inside too!
Super Mix is average, not what I expected, it contains mixture of chocolate peanut, strawberry and salted popcorn, don't think I'll be getting this again!

Seriously can't believe that time passes so fast! Tmr will be the last day of 2011 and I'm turning 21 in just 16 days? Omg, I'm starting to feel OLD. o.o
I feel that I didn't do much this year (as usual), I hope next year would be a better year for me! :p

New Year Resolutions?
My list, I didn't have one last year(I think), so I decided to come up with a list for next year.
1. Gain 3-5kg, ideal weight 45kg
2. Study more and not get distracted easily :p
3. Be more confident and increase self esteem (it's difficult to, but I'll try my best.)
4. Learn something new! Be it language, dance or music! ;)

Last job for the year! Haha it's difficult to get hold of event jobs :(

Nokia Lumia Event

So pissed off with Atickforthat education centre! Wasted 2.5 hours of my time + $3 transport fees! :(((
They told me and C that lessons will start at 9am today so we went there; waited for an hour together with 5 other students, before the person informed us that the teacher didn't know there will be a class at 9am and will only reach at 10.30am. WTH?!

I couldn't stay for the 10.30am class due to work at 12pm :( So we left the place and had our brunch at Burger King! It's been really long since I last ate BK's breakfast. Hahah it's always at Mcdonalds :p
Just to share with everyone, Burger King is currently having a promotion: Buy 1 cup of coffee and get croissan'wich for free! Till 20th Dec. The coffee costs $2, so this set costs $2! Quite worth it though I'm not a coffee person. The burger is good :)
After the meal, I had to rush down to work, was about 10mins late becasue I missed the stop. LOL, had to take the train back, too busy texting Amalina :p

Review - My Beauty Diary Hello Kitty Masks

I'm sure many of you have seen this type of Hello Kitty Masks before! I think Watsons is selling them too :)
I bought mine 6 months ago but didn't use them until recently. Lol. Anyway, I've only tried the strawberry milk mask and this flavour is meant for whitening and smoothening.
Each box contains 10 masks with 3 different designs(adorable!), that's one of the reasons why I bought them in the first place :p I hardly use masks because I think it's a hassle. Lol.

For this mask, the shape doesn't fit my face that well, it will cover my lips alittle(but can be adjusted) and it creases easily so I have to smoothen it once in awhile.

Verdict: I love the smell of this mask! Sweet, almost edible :p I think the effects are not that obvious but can still see the slight differences; parts covered by masks seems "whiter". I will continue to buy them if it's not too expensive!
(I use them once every 2 weeks so can last longer :p)

The Help + Review - Sushi Express

I went out with mum to watch "The Help" at Suntec City today:)
The movie was alright (no comments); I hate movies without subtitles because I'm more of a visual person :x
Anyway, during the movie I noticed three boys, who were sitting at the last row, ran up&down and I think they played with their skateboard too. Lol. There was sort of a space at the back, plus this movie had been screened for about a month already so there were less than 10 patrons in the cinema. *stupid pimples popping out all over my face :(OTD. Wanted to wear fedora but my mum said she wouldn't walk beside me if I worn it out. Lol? :x

Sushi Express

After the movie, we went for dinner at Sushi Express @ Citylink! :D We were only given 50 mins to eat, reason being there was a long queue waiting (which wasn't true, half the place was empty). Lol.
There was quite a wide selection of sushi to choose from the conveyor belt and everything on it cost $1.50 each! So much cheaper than Sakae Sushi :D
I had a total of 7 plates including a mango pudding, that wasn't alot, I could have eaten more but I ate too slow so there wasn't much time :C
By the time we finished, the place still wasn't full. Anyway, there was service charge of 10% which I have no idea why they include because everything was self service, including refilling of tea and clearing of the plastic covers. Weird.
Overall, it was still affordable and cheaper than most Japanese restaurants; it costed $1.80 per plate including all charges :) I will go there whenever I have sushi cravings(which is pretty frequent)! I hope they will open an outlet at Bedok Point so I can go there every week xD

Review - Groove Dance Studio

7 weeks ago, I posted that I was going to learn dance at Groove. And time passed so fast, lessons ended last week! I had no background in dancing even though I wanted to learn dance since like forever. The chance came when I saw Groupon's offer for Groove: $48 for 6 lessons. It was affordable so I got YL to join the classes with me :)I love the small cosy studio which is conveniently located at Suntec City. The enviornment is clean and pleasant for learning. Plus I like the interior; waiting area has all the purple pillows and cream seats.
The dance class consists of 10 students, so it's not so embarrassing for a beginner like me and teacher can guide us better. Furthermore, the teachers are really friendly! They would ask us if the steps are clear enough for us to follow and whether we need them to slow down(though most of the time students are too shy to answer).

However, the classes are relatively short (1 hour per lesson) and time flies when you're enjoying what you do! I noticed that the dance steps we learnt are not exactly same as the ones on MV and also, the classes hardly starts on time. My classes are at 4.30pm but it will usually start at 4.45pm - 5pm, due to the previous classes ending late :/
Strangely, the class size decreases every time I go, first class-10 people, second class-8 people... and the last class-3 people O.O

Oh, before I forget, their usual price is $140 for 6 lessons :)

It's pretty far from my place~ Anyway, I went there because of an offer I saw online and when I was much younger, I love their ice cream (Scoopz @ Parkway Parade).
The place is easy to find, about 10 mins bus trip from Toa Payoh interchange. I like the graffiti which they have done near the entrance and the place is cosy, but I find it weird that they place all the sofa seats in front. Lol.

I was there early, which explains the emptiness of the store. The flavours there were pretty limited, because I couldn't find the flavours which I loved! Or maybe they don't produce them anymore :/
In the end, I chose choc mint and peach, one of which K didn't like :/ Anyway, the offer consists of 2scoops of ice cream with waffle + hot choc. I didn't like their hot choc, not chocolatey enough and it's bland. Lol and the ice cream was average, it tasted much better in the past (@ parkway), but I do like their waffle:) So much better than waffle cottage:)Rating: ♥♥♥ - Worth trying + Can be improved :)

Previously, I saw an offer from New York Skin Solutions (NYSS) online and their first trial facial costed only $8, so I decided to try it and asked SQ to come along too.
We made appointment for the Pasir Ris outlet, and we got there on time but we were told to wait, the waiting time was about 30 minutes -.-

Finally, the consultant came in and asked us about our skin concerns before scanning our face using a machine(don't know what it's called. lol). She showed us how normal flawless skin is like before comparing with our skin. And she goes on to say about how the facial will help.

After that, we went into the rooms to get our facials done. It started with cleansing, then extracting of blackheads(on nose only) and ended with a mask. The extraction part hurts like mad, that's why I don't like going for facials!

Overall, I did see slight improvements(only temporary), because my skin is sensitive so my cheeks look red at times and after the facial, it doesn't look as red. After the facial, she sat us down and told us about the packages on promotion, and that if we signed up together, it'll be really cheap. But we told the lady that we wouldn't be signing on any packages, it was obvious that the attitude changed :/
*Before we stepped in NYSS, we have discussed and said not to sign on any packages because of the countless bad reviews we saw online :x We only want that $8 promo, cheapos. LOL :p

In my opinion, I think it's only worth going for first trial and maybe if the facial treatments are sponsered (like the ones shown on tv), other than that, don't go unless you have too much money to spend.

大姐&二姐 treated me to lunch at LENAS for my birthday ♥
At first we had a hard time deciding, then we came across LENAS in the directory and 二姐 mentioned that it has a new store in Nex, plus none of us tried it before so we decided to try it.
I love the layout of their store, very cozy place:)
We stepped in at about 3.05pm and the lunch promotion was still on if we ordered within 10 mins. So we were browsing through the menu, and the waiter was standing impatiently beside the table and rushed us into ordering. It was so stressful! LOL!

In the end, I ordered a set with beef and rice, forgot the exact name of it. Haha, once the orders are taken, we were directed to the salad bar: There weren't much choices but the ingredients were fresh :) The food came soon after we sat down; the service was quick! However, the food was slightly warm, felt like it was prepared long ago and served once we placed orders :S

Anyway, the food tasted good, that's all it matters :P
I would love to go back there again!

Review: Specialist Nail & Beauty Spa
Approximately two months ago, I bought an online voucher from Cozycot spree, $19 for both classic manicure and pedicure, it's really cheap! :)
So I got KT to go down with me to Far East Shopping Centre to get our nails done!
Outcome -this is the best picture I've got:
(Light purple nails! Look like yam ice cream ^^)Overall, the service was good and the girls were friendly, however the quality and outcome was average, it couldn't last me more than 1 week :( I guess it is because of the amount paid? :/
Before this, I've always gotten Express Manicure (because it's cheaper.lol.) and those can last me more than 2 weeks!
Rating: ♥♥♥ -Actually it's only worth 2 hearts but gave an extra one for the friendly staffs!

I noticed the long queue outside this particular restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. The queue moved pretty slowly, but I won't mind if the food tasted good.
However, the waiting time for food was long! The other patrons, who sat down later than us, were already served and mine wasn't. Apparently, they forgot the order and after we reminded them then they served our food :/ Anyway, the food is alright and the customer service is slightly above average. I doubt I'll go back there again.

The packaging is so cute!

I bought pink as I don't like boring colours like black/brown :x I'll always get green, pink, blue or pink!
How it looks when worn:
(I know I look horrible, lazy to put on makeup :s)
Anyway the colour isn't that obvious :( It looks more like purple most of the time! The second picture looks weird, LOL. I just want to show how it looks like with flash :)

As for the lenses, it's very thin and I find it comfortable, but it gets blur at the end of the day. Unlike barbie eyes, I think that lasts longer(as it stays clear and not that dry)!

I went down to Essensuals Bugis today for haircut and treatment. It is located above Burger King, which is really easy to find ;)

As I entered the place, I noticed the creative and modern layout of the place, it's cozy and relaxing, here's a picture:

I was served by Yan Ooi and she mentioned that I looked familiar but I don't remember seeing her before! I may have bad memory but for some unknown reason, I can remember faces very well, lol. Anyway, I find her cute! Hahaha. I'm satisfied with the results, so do request for Yan Ooi and tell her that I've recommended her (she remembers me as the tall and super skinny girl, lol). She's really friendly and cute :p
