Review + Giveaway: Lovemore Japan Soymilk Enzyme Moisturizing & Soothing Mask

Soy foods have been known to be beneficial to women and are the best defenses against diseases. One of the common types of soy food will be soymilk, something that I love drinking too! Which brings me to what I'm going to share with you today: Lovemore Japan Soymilk Enzyme Moisturizing & Soothing Mask :)

What makes this stands out from the rest is the super 4 upgrade, allowing you to get more benefits in just a short time frame ;)
It includes:
1. More Hydrating: Patented SYN® HYCAN
Enriched with SYN® HYCAN, giving a better moisturizing effect than traditional Hyaluronic acid!

2. Intense Moisture: Microemulsions
Essences are break down to smaller molecules for better absorption - skin will be healthier and brighter.

3. Best Fitting: Japan Soft Mask
0.02mm feathery soft mask, with skin-friendly ergonomic cut to have a better fit on skin!

4. Deep penetration: Zero Osmotic Pressure
Increase the asborbability, 5x more efficient than normal skin care. Effortlessly pamper your skin.

Before applying any type of masks, it's good to use a toner first to remove any excess oil/dirt that your cleanser didn't, and this preps your skin for the next step, allowing better absorption of vitamins/minerals,etc! :)
In addition to the points mentioned above, these mask sheets are 100% natural plus it has low acidity, non-colouring, alcohol free and non-comedogenic, which makes it environment friendly & gentle on the skin!
Did you notice the cute envelop packaging too? ;)

Back to the review, once I opened it, I notice a sweet scent which resembles soymilk & candy, a plus point for someone who love light scents from skincare/beauty products(like me)! Each mask sheet comes with a plastic film which allows unfolding and application of the mask to be easier. Being 0.02mm thin and with side cuts, the mask adheres onto my face perfectly and allows better absorption. Moreover, it stays moist throughout the 20mins of application to prevent osmosis from happening and increases the effectiveness of the mask.

I noticed that this mask contains alot of serum so it tends to drip when you're in the process of putting it on your face. I have the tendency of doing it in my room so I can take pictures of it but this really mess up my table so it's best to do it in the bathroom. Plus, I had to be really careful with the mask sheet as it tears easily, notice the whole patch near my ear? I tore that part when I was unfolding it even when I have really short nails, so be extra careful when unfolding and putting it on your face ;)

After 20 minutes, I notice a brightening effect and skin feels supple. The leftover serum is also easily absorbed without feeling sticky like most masks do. With a good night's sleep, I woke up to softer skin; it would be great to use this regularly for better effects!

I have combination skin with sensitive skin around cheek areas due to some aftereffects of medical products, so the mask did not cause any discomfort, in fact I love how good it smells and how it moisturises my skin without making it look oily on the tzone areas :)

Last but not least, before I discard the packaging, I would usually check if there's any leftover serum, you can see that there's actually quite an amount left, so if you happen to be using this mask too, don't throw it away! Seal it and keep it in the fridge for your next mask session!:)

Review: Owndays PC (Blue Shield) Lenses

A few months ago, I posted a guide & review on Owndays Singapore and mentioned that I would like to get PC lenses with them as well as do a pair of eye glasses in Korea /Japan and I did both! Now I have 3 pairs of spectacles which is alittle too much. Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about not being able to see if I were to lose one pair of spectacles!  Today I'll be reviewing on their PC aka blue shield lenses. They seemed to be emphasizing more on this type of lens lately and I didn't find a review on this so I decided to be the first to start. Owndays PC lenses come with a slight tinted brown colour and blue coating. The purpose of these lenses is to cut down a certain amount of blue light that is being emitted from electronic devices such as computer, mobile phones, TV, etc.  (Picture credited to Owndays Singapore) You might be wondering, what is blue light and why do we emphasis so much on it now? Blue light is a type of light that is blue in col

Review & Guide: Owndays Singapore

If you've been to Korea or Japan, you might have heard of getting a pair of spectacles done within the same day or even within minutes! Based on reviews I found online and through friends, it can cost less than $100 for a pair and I have been tempted to get mine done there ever since. Earlier last year, Owndays decided to expand and opened its first shop in Singapore. To many, it was a relatively new concept to get spectacles within the same day but to me, it's like finally, I have a chance to experience it without having to travel! A basic introduction to those who are not familiar with the store. Owndays is a brand from Japan that offers all-in-one price (frame + 1.6 high index aspheric lenses) at $98-$198. With 1,500 styles to choose from and processing time of 20 minutes, you can not only find a pair of spectacles to correct your vision but also change them according to different occasions. (Picture credit to Owndays Singapore) I love their open concept. Unlike most

Japan Airlines (JAL) Interview Process in Singapore

(Image credit to Japan Airlines) Unlike most airlines that organised open day and mass interview at one go with multiple stages to see whether you qualify to be a cabin crew, Japan Airlines (JAL) only have 2 interview stages and medical checkup to determine if you're suitable for the job. The application process is done online through their JAL Singapore site where you have to fill in various information like education, job experiences, references etc, just like what most companies would require one to fill up before the interview. After you're done, wait for their email for the 1st interview, I received it 2 days after the closing date for applications. If you are unable to make it to the interview timing indicated, you can email them and reschedule for a earlier/later timing(dates can't be changed). Make sure you are there at least 15 minutes before your interview slot. Do take note of the requirement stated in the email too, for the 1st interview I was asked to
