there was projects deadline & presentations(as stated in previous post).
finally presentations are all over!
i think i did badly =x

now i'm left with fashion project, the research and mood board. i was thinking of doing clubwear. cool huh? hahaha.

Hello!~

I haven't been blogging bcos I'm lazy =D
& Also busy with projects! Finally submitted RBB project today.
Now I'm left with 20th Century Fashion project, which I have decided to do on Versace. I love her spring/summer collection `09, and almost all others!
But I have no idea what theme to do on. Hmmmmm, any suggestions? =p

Anyway, I'm sure many of you have read the news on Fauzi Rassull, where the media reported that he want to be stick-thin for beauty's sake and him being a famous blogger who influences youngsters to be thin too.

His height of 1.73cm & weigh 60kg is not considered thin at all, I think it's just right? He shouldn't lose anymore weight(: But he only have two meals a day consisting of bread, instant noodles and salad. This is seriously very little, I can't survive on that! I need at least 4-6 meals, 6 meals is ideal for me =p

& The title of article is: Thin is in for Singapore youth, but I don't really see much skinny people around? I thought the so called trend of eating disorder have died down long ago.

Plus, I agree with this statement from Fauzi: "people misinterpret skinny and anorexic".
Many people tend to connect skinny & anorexic together, which sometimes isn't the case. A good example would be me =p I'm 170cm (5-foot 6-inch), weigh 40kg (88-pound), might not be accurate cos I haven't weigh myself for 1-2years? LOL.

Firstly, I'm not anorexic, many people have that impression when they first see me =.= Secondly, I need or should I say must, I must have at least 4 meals a day, if not I will die of hunger(maybe? lol), I'm always complaining that I'm hungry (my mum gets irritated all the time), sometimes my friends too =D Thirdly, I have been to doctors & nutritionist, but it didn't really help, cos I'm already eating healthily, the only thing they suggested was to exercise.
Lastly, I wish I am 5 kg heavier =D

Ending off, I think being stick thin isn't glamourous.

Anyway thanks to ken ,who happen to be going bugis, I had someone to irritate for 1 hour. or more like he irritate me. hahah.
& i watched Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince today!
It's alittle disappointing, but the effects were good. I haven't read the book so I have no idea how different it is as compared to the movie.
I'll give it 3/5 (:

So, we managed to get good seats without booking tickets =D While others are booking tickets in advance or queueing very long just for the tickets, we just have to arrive 10mins before the start of the movie and still get good seats(second row from back)! I'm sure many of you didn't consider going to Iluma(Bugis), where there's a cinema known as Film Grade, the seats aren't considered the best among other cinemas, but I like the cinema, not only it's new, there isn't much of a queue too. LOL.

I was quarantined for like 3 days? lol.
Which is from Monday(i was at school anyway) till Thursday, had to go back school on Thurs, which is today.
Why was I quarantined? Not suspected case, it's just that the school wanted to be safe than sorry. Wei bin's CDS class got a case of H1N1, therefore we(my whole class) got quarantined(:
Which was what I wanted sometime ago =p, been slacking as well as doing projects, deadlines are all next week!
& I haven't started on my fashion project, which is really bad =X
(Remind myself, must start by Friday!)

So, today, I let my fringe down, wanted to cut it, but don't know how I should go about doing it =X
& My mum hate my current fringe cos it covers one of my eye, as you can see it the picture below. She said she felt like snipping everything off. LOL.

I didn't manage to get any work done today, I'm so dead, alot of projects' deadline coming up!

I went out with dear today, watched Obsessed at AMK, the cinema is so freaking cold! I can freeze to death, bcos I do not have enough fats. LOL.
Back to the movie, Obsessed: 4/5 rating, Ali larter is simply insane in the movie, too smart for her own good =x but the acting by the three actresses&actor is good (:
Idris is a great husband in the movie, but guys like him are very rare/almost extinct in the real world. HAHAH =p
Oh ya, there was this scene where Idris was looking out of the window in the middle of the night, I was thinking something might pop up, but it was just the sprinklers in the garden that got turn on suddenly, i did sort of jump abit & dear started laughing at me (evil!) =X
I hate horror movies, don't dare to watch them. LOL.
&& I saw Mingzhen at AMK today(: hahah.

After that, we went shopping at Orchard then to Parkway, wanted to buy some clothes but didn't see anything suitable. Such a disappointment. But he bought more chocolates+ cheese for me , cos my teacher said that eating cheese will gain weight, like what she did when she was young :D and she said she gained more than she expected, but i think she looks great now :D hope I can gain weight too, then can do more photoshoots =p

Then I went to meet parents&sis for dinner, we had sushi, my favourite! :D
Oh, and dad took a picture of me&sis with his iphone, i also want one :( though I don't really like the messaging part. LOL.My forehead is really huge, very ugly, but my fringe is always flat which is fugly, so might as well clip them up =x &those horrible eyebags, if I had money, I will do plastic surgery(from head to toe). LOL. just kdding =x
(& i did put fake eyelashes, tt's why my eyes seem to be bigger =p)
But I'm still bad with makeup, takes very long to stick&remove eyelashes! =(
I don't like to apply makeup unless necessary, eg. working. Today is an exception, bcos dear wanted to see how I look with makeup on. LOL.

Korean Lesson 1

i think korean is difficult as compared to Japanese(which is closer to Chinese).
anyway, i just found out how to type Korean words, so i'm gonna post some here =D
i have problems memorising them =(

Lesson 1 Hangul (한글 Korean Alphabet)

It consists of 40 letters, 21 of them represent vowels, 19 represent consonants.
24 are basic while the others are compounds of basic letters.


Read as: (left to right)
ah, or, oh, wu, eu, e, a, a


Read as: (left to right)
yah, your, yo, you, ye, ye


Read as: (left to right)
wa, where, wo, where, where, we, eu-ii


Read as: (left to right)
kiyok, nieun, digot, reel, mieum, bieup, siot, ieung, jieut


Read as: (left to right)
qieut, kiyot, tigot, pieup, heiut

Each korean word is made up of
1consonant + 1vowel + 1consonant
or
1consonant + 1 vowel

Example of 1consonant + 1 vowel:

아 버 지 = Father
(read as: ah pu ji)
ㅇis a consonant &ㅏ is a vowel.

Example of 1consonant + 1vowel + 1consonant:

맛 있 다 = Delicious
(read as: ma shi ta)
ㅁis a consonant, ㅏ is a vowel & ㅅ is the end consonant.

It's important to know individual characters as there'll be forming of words which will be added later on(:

A 19-YEAR-OLD full-time National Serviceman has been arrested in connection with the death of Second Lieutenant Nicholas Chan Wei Kit.
The 21-year-old motor transport officer was pinned under a Land Rover after it rolled backwards and hit him while he was inspecting it at Seletar Camp last Friday.

It is believed that the soldier who was arrested was the driver of the vehicle and was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.
A recovery vehicle later lifted the vehicle off 2LT Chan. He died of his injuries in hospital.
Initial details surrounding 2LT Chan's death - such as whether the handbrake had been applied or wheel chocks put in place to prevent the vehicle from moving accidentally - were unclear.

But the youth, who is out on bail, was taken in by the police for causing death through a rash act and is currently assisting them. It is understood that he was arrested on the day of the incident after investigations.
It is not clear if the driver was also from Jurong Camp, like 2LT Chan.
The bereaved mother had said earlier her son could not have gone unaccompanied to collect the Land Rover as he did not have a driver's licence.

When contacted on Thursday, his younger cousin, Mr Reuben Leong, 20, said the father was aware there was someone else involved and had been updated on the developments. Neither parent would comment while investigations were under way, he added.
2LT Chan, a newly commissioned officer, was the only child of a homemaker and an engineer. Affectionately known as 'Nicky Boy', he was remembered by his family and friends for his 'cheeky and heartwarming' smile, and by his men for being a compassionate leader who put their needs first.

Full time NSman dies after being pinned by Land Rover during inspection

SINGAPORE: Full—time National Serviceman Second Lieutenant (2LT) Nicholas Chan Wei Kit died in hospital on Friday after a Land Rover he was inspecting rolled backwards and hit him, pinning him under the vehicle.
A statement from the Ministry of Defence says 2LT Chan, a Motor Transport Officer, was taking delivery of the SAF Land Rover in Seletar Camp at about 11.30am when the incident happened.

A recovery vehicle was activated half an hour later and managed to lift the Land Rover.
A medical team from the Seletar Medical Centre attempted to resuscitate 2LT Chan immediately. He was sent to Changi General Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1.07pm.
Mindef and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late 2LT Chan.
Mindef says it will assist the family in their time of grief. It is also investigating the incident.

Nicholas is in the first batch of RMT, our lecturer mentioned this during our first period. Then later during our apel class, our teacher was also upset, as he had been to the wake just before lesson, and couldn't continue with class, instead he told us that life is unfair(it's always been like that anyway) and that we should make full use of our time and do well for this course, etc. Also, when he was mentioning on what nicholas' family said, I almost cried >< (Too emotional)
